a bit tough and chewy for a first puzzle, but as an only puzzle it's not too bad. the art is surreal, the writing is fantastic, the characters are full and exciting, and i can't wait to see more
It's almost a shame that the game is front-loaded with this (not quite complex but not the most straightforward either) computer panel puzzle, because everything after that is just dripping with ambiance and this Disco Elysium tone, while still having its own flair. The writing and art direction really are up there.
Thank you! Keeping the puzzle feedback in mind for the future. In the meantime, I've just added a walkthrough for those having trouble with the puzzle portion in the description!
Just added a walkthrough for those having trouble with the puzzle portion in the description! If you did input the correct solution and it didn't go through, would love to know so we can try debugging it
I might be the most un puzzle brained gamer in the world because for the life of me I couldn't figure out the panel section and what I was supposed to do at what points. Sadly this kind of killed the game experience for me.
I'm only in to where you meet Valerie, but this game's art style and atmosphere is genuinely so cool that I have taken more time just looking around and enjoying the music and visuals far more than I ever have any AAA game. What a wonderful atmosphere and setting this creation has. I haven't even felt excited to explore a game and its world like this since the Witcher 3 came out. Or maybe the very first time I played Homeworld... Just a fascination to know more about the world it's in.
Oh. That is about where things land for the demo, actually. What a neat gem found in a place I never look. Modern gaming has felt so soulless and disinterested the past several years and I come across this one while wandering around on the internet and feel an excitement for a game that I haven't felt in a very long time. Thank you for sharing what you've made, and for throwing a spark back into the artform that's felt like dead and cold coals to me for a while now.
Extremely meaningful response to read tbh aaa thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoyed the game, really hope to be able to expand upon this and improve the format in the future!!

Loved the wholesome-horny interaction with Valerie at the end, would love to see this expanded

I have input what is most assuredly the correct solution to the panel puzzle and it refuses to accept it.
